Jayne, that's so brilliant! My friend's cats always enjoy Christmastime because they get to destroy and eat a pretty tree, and I'm guessing there are other pet owners who come home to shredded tinsel and sparkling vomit as well. What a clever and stylish solution you've come up with!
'Tis the season of sparkly vomit! When I was a kid, we came home from school many times and found the Christmas tree lying on the floor with several innocent-looking cats lurking around. Do a Google image search of cats and Christmas trees, and enjoy the fun!
I design and make retro modern cat beds. My lifelong collection of remarkable vintage fabrics is matched only by a lifelong devotion to my collection of remarkably rescued and formerly feral cats.
(Like Kittysville is really a reference to our home.)
The junior cat lady in the photo is me with the original Wampus.
